Due to the outbreak of COVID 19 again in social Level. Ministry of Education announced 2nd term vacation to Schools from October 5th.
Meanwhile, there is a confusion among all regarding the Grade 5 and G.C.E. A/L 2020 Examination date change.
When inquired regard this with the Commissioner of Examinations regarding the Year 05 Scholarship Examination and the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination, he said that the Department of Examinations has arranged to conduct the examinations on the dates previously announced.
He said there was no intention to change the dates for the exams so far.
Meanwhile, due to the prevailing health conditions in the country, the issuance of certificates by the Sri Lanka Examinations Department will be done only online, he said.
The Department of Examinations states that if there are any discrepancies, information can be obtained by calling 1911.
