The Department of Examinations has decided to give one more week to apply for the G.C.E O/L 2020.
The Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Poojitha said that more than 350,000 school candidates have applied for the examination so far.
However, he added that the acceptance period had been extended as a significant number of applications have not been received from private applicants.
Accordingly, the closing date for applications is 7th September 2020.
