Wayamba University of Sri Lanka , Department of Computing and Information Systems, Faculty of Applied Science has called applications for Diploma in Software Engineering -2021.
Applications are invited for the above Diploma Course commencing from March 2021. Diploma in Software Engineering is a comprehensive course in Software Engineering, specially designed to provide software development hands on experience with Software Engineering theories and practices for those who are interested in computer systems development, for those who are willing to pursue a career in Information Technology field and for employees in Government and Private sectors to fulfil their software development needs.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Passed in G.C.E. (Advanced Level) 2 subjects (3 subjects for the applicants who did four subjects) in any stream in a single attempt,
OR
Six passes including Mathematics and English in GCE (Ordinary Level) in one sitting,
OR
Six passes in G. C. E. (Ordinary Level) in one sitting with more than one years of working experience in a related field,
OR
Any other qualification not listed above, but may be considered case by case and acceptable to the Board of Study and the Senate of WUSL.

II. In the case of an application form downloaded from the University website, Rs.600/- should be
paid in favour of the Collection Account No: 028100151586123 of the Wayamba University of
Sri Lanka at any branch of the People’s Bank.
When the application is sent, the bank payment receipt should be attached. Applications without the bank payment receipt will not be accepted.
