The GCE Advance Level Examinations(A/L) and Grade 5 Scholarship are most likely to be postponed. Exams won’t happen As schedule on August 2021, Commissioner General of Examinations , Mr. B. Sanath Pujitha Said.
It has been decided not to hold the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination and the GCE Advanced Level Examination in August 2021 .
Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Mr. B. Sanath Pujitha stated that this decision was taken during a discussion with the Minister of Education and other officials.
All the Provincial Directors have also been involved in the discussion through Zoom Technology.
It was discussed at the meeting that it would not be fair to conduct the examinations next August 2021 due to the schools not being held and the syllabus not being covered properly.
Accordingly, the dates for the resumption of the scholarship examination and the GCE Advanced Level examination have not been decided yet, said the Commissioner General of Examinations, Mr. B. Sanath Pujitha.
